Police Reserves are volunteers from the community who assist police officers with calls for service and assist the support staff within the police department. Police Reserves also provide service during community events. Reserves are asked to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per month and are supervised by a Sgt within the Police Department.
Police Reserves are trained in various aspects of police work including use of force and defensive tactics.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license and pass a criminal background check.
THE RESERVE OFFICER APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED USING MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER. IF YOU USE ANY OTHER BROWSER, IT WILL NOT SAVE YOUR ENTRIES ON THE FORM.
Release of Information
Once the Application AND Release of Information form is completed, it must be saved to your computer and submitted by email to: email@example.com
The application may also be mailed or dropped off at the Police Department. Applications can be submitted at any time.
