The city collects a portion of the regional sales tax that is used for regional roadways within the city limits.  The regional roadways are defined by the city.  These roadways have not been reviewed for some time.  Staff would like to review this criteria with the city council and determine if any additional roadways within the city should be considered for sales tax designation.

The Public Works Department has a part-time PW Assistant position that currently works 28 hours a week.  The department would like to discuss with the city council about moving this position from part-time to full-time.  More information will be presented at the meeting.  

The city contracts with New West and Mammoth to manage and operate The Ledge Amphitheater.  The agreement the city has also requires State approval given the state funding that has supported the construction of the facility.  The contract has been in place for the last 5 years and it is time to renew this contract.  Staff would like to discuss this contract with the city council, what has changed, and the process for approval.  A draft of this agreement is attached for your review and will be discussed in more detail.

Each department will provide an update to the city council of things going on within their departments.  Information will be presented at the meeting.
